Feast on the American cuisine at Bolete and Grille 3501, where superb service and a great atmosphere make the meal an experience to remember. If you're in a hurry, opt for something quick and tasty at Cali Burrito or Louie's Restaurant.
Top Restaurants in AllentownWhile the Liberty Bell now rests in Philadelphia, for a time it resided, hidden, in Allentown. Facing threat from the British, in 1777 the bell was transported from Philadelphia and hidden in the basement of Allentown's Old Zion Reformed Church. There, the bell was kept safe as the Revolutionary War was waged. Eventually it returned to its original hometown, but Allentown's role in protecting the bell has not been forgotten. Today, the basement of the church is the Liberty Bell Museum, housing a replica of the famous bell as well as fascinating historical exhibits.
